William Millar (APTA)
William Henry Millar born August 7, 1954 is the former President of the American Public Transportation Association. In the spring of 1992 he dealt with a crippling 28 day work stoppage strike that was only resolved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court while an agreement wasn't reached until 8 months later, a crisis in which Mr. Millar was burned in effigy by striking workers.〔http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/news/transportation/how-92-transit-strike-ended-622593/〕
